Full Version 2.0 Soon..ish

1.2 is riddled with bugs, inconsistencies and passability errors. I'm currently going through the game and trying to root out every major one.

Notably, 1.2 IS ONLY PLAYABLE UP UNTIL THE END OF THE HOTEL MEETING IF YOU DO NOT BACKTRACK TO THE ALLEYS. There is a messed up teleport. A fix for this is to hold down Ctrl while test playing- other than that it breaks the game. I am so sorry I did not get to this sooner- hopefully the full completed version will be up real soon!

PLEASE make sure you have version 1.2!

This version fixes a particularly detrimental error where the Crazy Motorcycle sequence did not fade in correctly/enemies did not show up. If you have downloaded 1.0, please download 1.2 and transfer your save file, which will work across all versions. Alternatively, you can use http://www.mediafire.com/?xt3o5bjyoddeboi and overwrite your data folder rather than redownloading the whole game. If you do redownload, the .ZIP for 1.2 is 'CosplayCrisisFullGame', NOT 'Cosplay Crisis -Full Version-'

Thanks to everyone who has already downloaded. In the last 11 days the game has gotten nearly 200 downloads, which is why I'm trying to work as fast as I can to fix any errors that pop up.

Hopefully this will be the last issue. I'm planning on going on a bit of a hiatus after this. Play some videogames, get new ideas, come back next year ready and roaring to work on some gams.

On the 1st Day of December Cosplay Crisis was released~

and now we wait for the fanboys to start biiiitching.

*MEANT TO BE SUNG~

Anyway dearests, I've added a full download link. No April fools joke, no herp herp, this should be 100% complete and...playable. Don't expect bug free, it's too buggy for that to actually be plausible. Remember, it is my first full completed game. I have learnt much in the process and I believe every game I make from now on will be amazeballs...especially with VXAce coming out XD XD XD XD.

Realization

I was playing Final Fantasy VII earlier today and finally comprehended what everyone meant by Cosplay Crisis and its transitions and pacings. It's too fast. Overwhelmingly fast. Things just move so quickly in the game it's hard for anyone to wrap their head around it. It's also with this that I realized that I need to go through and slow everything down again. More waits, more time between events, maybe even slow down the battle speed to something more reasonable. In doing so there will be consequences, and depending on my players this may be detrimental or beneficial. Y'see, Cosplay Crisis, even with its ridiculously fast pacing, is still about 10 hours long (possibly longer!!). That's right. If I'm successful with this pacing endeavour, Cosplay Crisis will probably be the same length as your average professional RPG. No wonder it took me three years to develop, lololololol kill me.
However some things I probably won't touch. Namely random encounters, mostly. I think they're at the point where they're not mind numbingly bad in CC compared to other games (such as FF7! God~! Midgar's random encounters make me want to fucking stab something!). I mean, I should've gotten it from the beginning. The way music is played, everything. CC needs to slow down and really grab the player more. So I'm going to get to work on that. Stay tuned.
